Online Reservation Policies
The Angel of the Sea will not share or sell your personal information to any third party entity.
All online transactions are fully encrypted and conducted via secure internet safety guidelines. All your personal information including credit card number, name, and address is encrypted so it can not be read online.
All room rates at the Angel are subject to a total of 14% tax. Please mention any gift certificates you may be using when you make your reservation. If you have any questions on a specific package, please ask in advance.
Please read completely before making a reservation. We do not overbook rooms and all reservations are guaranteed. Because of the demand for reservations at the Angel, our cancellation policy is final and non-flexible.
We require three full days notice for all cancellations (one full week for Holiday Weekends)
A deposit of one full night stay (including tax) will be charged to your card to guarantee your reservation. Any cancellations within 72 hours of check-in (2pm on your arrival day) will be charged for the room balance in full. If the room is re-rented your credit card will be refunded in the amount we received from the re-rental. An early departures is treated the same as a cancellation.
We allow one rescheduling of a reservation 72 hours prior to check in (2pm on your arrival day). We will transfer your deposit to the new reservation. If you cannot reschedule, or just need to cancel a reservation 72 hours prior to check in, you will not be responsible for any other charges other than the non-refundable deposit.
The management is not responsible for cancellations due to illness, family emergencies, work conflicts or inclement weather.
All balances must be paid in full at the time of check-in. No refunds are permitted for early departures. Please note - at check-in we only accept cash or credit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.
Reservations canceled 3 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the deposit less the $35.00 dollar cancellation fee. If you are able to reschedule the reservation at the time of cancellation, this fee will be waived and your full deposit will be applied to the new reservation.
Check-in time is 2:00 PM. If you expect to arrive later than 9:00 PM, please notify the Front Desk and we will be happy to accommodate you. Check-out time is 11:00 am. We can only accommodate a very limited number of late check-outs as our housekeeping staff needs sufficient time to throughly clean and prepare all rooms for arriving guests prior to their check-in time of 2pm. All other amenities including bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and outdoor shower are available for our guests to use prior to check-in and after check-out so that they can enjoy a full day of fun.
Pets are not permitted at the Angel of the Sea.
We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 8 years.
Gift Certificate Policy - Please Read
Angel of the Sea Gift Certificates are valid for 2 years from date of purchase. Any other limitations regarding use or special packages are specified on the face of the gift certificate.
Currently we accept outside gift certificates issued by bedandbreakfast.com only, and limited to a maximum of $200 per stay. (We do not accept gift certificates from iloveinns.com or any other online directory.) Gift certificates from bedandbreakfast.com can only be applied towards the room rate and cannot be used towards any taxes. Outside gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupons or for deeply discounted or "walk-in" rates.

For the safety and comfort of our guests, staff and for the protection of our historic Inn, smoking is not permitted at any time anywhere within the Angel or on the porches. We provide a designated smoking area off the porches in our patio garden and park benches. If you do chose to smoke in the designated smoking areas outside the house, please be courteous of the other guests. Any guest who smokes or uses lit candles within the inn will be asked to leave immediately. Smoking within the inn could also result in a fine, and a $500 cleaning charge may be assessed against your credit card. No refunds will be provided if a guest is asked to leave due to smoking.
Please advise the Front Desk of any specific dietary or medical needs you may have, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
